are signing paperwork that says that you are going to be
responsible for that child in just the same way that you would
be responsible for a child that you had naturally.
This means that if you adopt a child and then walk out on your
family, you are going to be financially responsible for that
child in just the same way you would be if you had had that
baby. You will need to pay child support in just he same way,
and be responsible for everything else that you would have to be
responsible for if this child were your own biological child.
Remember that having a child is a very serious matter. It means
that for the rest of your life there is going to be someone who
is depending on you. Adopting a child is just the same as having
a child, and it means that you are a parent forever. There is no
going back once you have adopted a child, you are responsible
for what happens to that child and you must keep them with you
and take care of them for their whole lives.
Adopting a child is a wonderful thing, as long as you realize
that it is not something that is temporary. This is your child,
and it will always be your child.
